There are some fundemental equations that have been applied to determine the motion of the aircraft and the main source is the Flight and Orbital Mechanics course, given by Dr. To upgrade the current model, the aircraft is in need of some equations of motion. The good news however lies in the number two of 2D, we can bypass an entire dimension… Equations of motion (EOM) analysis The problem in our case is that the assumptions differ from the reference material.

However, these rely on a particular set of assumptions. There are quite alot of resources and even example projects available that implement flight in three dimensions. Normally, one would consider motion in three dimensions. The flight physics can be implemented at this stage.

In Modeling part 1, the aircraft is properly configured so that it exists in Phaser, armed with a physics body. Please not that these features where implemented in the early stage, prior to logging the progress.
